Here’s how to update your website with confidence.


Start With Small Changes


Before you change a lot at once, start small.


Good updates to begin with:

Don’t Edit Everything at Once


It can be tempting to update many pages at the same time.Try not to.


Instead:

  • Update one page

  • Save your changes

  • Check how it looks


This makes it easier to spot mistakes and fix them quickly.


Use the Tools Built Into Your Website


Your WIX platform is designed to help you.


Helpful tools to use:

  • Preview mode to see your changes before publishing

  • Undo arrow if something doesn’t look right

  • Click the save button often


If something looks off, you can usually fix it in just one click.


Keep a Copy of Important Text


Before changing large sections of text:

  • Select the old text

  • Press "copy"

  • Paste it into a document or into a notes app


By saving a copy of the text, you can always put it back if needed.
