How We Use AI
We use AI tools in our business, and we think you should know how.
Effective Date: August 2026
AI is a tool we use to save time. It isn't a replacement for us.
Every email, blog post, lesson, and training session goes through a real person before it reaches you. Usually that person is Natalie or Andrea.
This page explains what we use AI for, what we don't use it for, and what happens to your information.
What We Use AI For
-
Drafting first versions of blog posts, emails, and social media captions
-
Creating branded text graphics for social media from our own copy
-
Producing first-pass website audits, which we read, check, and edit before you see them
-
Building the AI tools inside the membership, like the Roadmap Toolkit
-
Organizing notes and research
-
Checking our own writing for clarity
-
Summarizing questions that come up in our live sessions
When AI helps with an audit, a human still does the thinking. We check every finding against the actual site, remove what does not apply, and add what a tool cannot see. You get our judgment, not a raw report.
What We Don't Use AI For
-
Replying to your emails without reading them. Every message gets a real person's attention.
-
Teaching our live Q&A sessions and Lab calls
-
Making decisions about your business
-
Creating photos of people or places that do not exist
-
Putting your private business information into AI tools
Your Information Stays Yours
The AI tools in our membership run on Anthropic's Claude API. When you type something into a tool, that text is sent to Anthropic so the tool can give you an answer back.
Here's what that means in plain terms:
-
Your input is used to answer your question. That is it.
-
We do not use your business information to train AI models.
-
We do not share, sell, or hand your information to anyone else.
-
We do not put private client details, financial records, or personal information into AI tools. Please do not either.
If you would rather not use the AI tools at all, that is completely fine. Everything else in your membership works without them.
If We Are Working on Your Project
When you hire us for a website, an audit, or strategy work, we may use AI to help with drafts, research, and first-pass findings.
What we put in is limited to what we need. That means your website address, your public content, and the goals you have shared with us.
What we do not put in: your customer lists, your financial records, anything a client of yours shared in confidence, or anything you have told us to keep private.
If you would prefer we did not use AI on your project at all, tell us. We will work another way.
Always Read It Before You Use It
AI tools are helpful, but they're not always right. They can get facts wrong. They can sound like everyone else. They don't know your business the way you do.
So treat every draft as a starting point. Read it. Change it. Make it sound like you.
Common Questions About Our Use of AI
Do you use AI to create your content?
Yes, for first drafts. We use AI to draft blog posts, emails, and social media captions. Every single one is then read and edited by a real person before it goes out. Usually that's Natalie or Andrea.
Does AI write the emails you send me?
AI may help with a first draft. It never sends anything on its own. And when you email us, a real person reads your message and writes back. We do not use AI to reply to you.
Is my information used to train AI models?
No. When you use a tool inside the membership, your text is sent to Anthropic's Claude so the tool can answer you. That is all it is used for. We do not use your business information to train AI models, and we do not share or sell it.
Will a real person answer if I reach out?
Yes, always. Emails, live Q&A sessions, and Lab calls are all handled by us. AI does not teach our sessions and it does not answer your messages.
Do you tell me when something was made with AI?
This page is how we tell you. AI helps us draft and organize, and every piece of it passes through a person before you see it. We don't use AI to create photos of people or places that don't exist.
Can I opt out of the AI tools?
Yes. Everything else in your membership works without them. And if we're building your website, just tell us you'd rather we didn't use AI on your project, and we'll work another way.
You Own What You Create
Anything you make using our AI tools belongs to you. Your words, your website copy, your emails, your plans.
If you're in a Digital Success Lab or Mastermind cohort, the Claude Skills you build during the program stay with you. You keep them after the cohort ends.
