Digital Success Weekly gives you one simple step to move your online presence forward, in 30 minutes or less.
This week is about creating a FAQ page for your website. A simple list of the questions people ask you most, with clear, helpful answers. It's one of the easiest pages to write and one of the most useful for your visitors.
What This Focus Is Really About
Think of your FAQ page as a patient assistant who answers the same questions over and over, so you don't have to.
Every business gets the same questions repeatedly. How much does it cost? How does it work? How long does it take? How do I get started? A FAQ page answers all of those questions in one place, saving you time and helping your visitors feel informed and confident.
Why This Matters
1. It saves you time
When your FAQ page answers common questions, you spend less time answering the same emails and messages over and over. Your website does that work for you.
2. It helps visitors make decisions
People often hesitate to reach out because they're not sure if you're the right fit. A clear FAQ page gives them the information they need to decide — without having to ask.
3. It's good for SEO
People type questions into Google all the time. "How much does a Wix website cost?" "How do I get my business on Google?" If your FAQ page answers those questions, it can show up in search results.
4. It builds trust
A well-written FAQ page shows that you understand your customers and have thought about their needs. That's reassuring before someone reaches out for the first time.
What to Include in Your FAQ Page
Think about the questions you get asked most often. A few common categories:
Getting started: "How do I work with you?" "Where do I begin?"
Pricing: "How much does it cost?" "Do you offer payment plans?"
Process: "How long does it take?" "What do I need to provide?"
Results: "What can I expect?" "How will I know if it's working?"
A Few Tips to Keep in Mind
Aim for five to ten questions to start. You can always add more later.
Write the answers in plain, conversational language
Keep each answer short. Two to four sentences is usually enough.
Add a call to action at the bottom ("Still have questions? Get in touch.")
Your Action Step
Make a list of the five to ten questions you get asked most often. Ask yourself:
"What do people always want to know before they work with me?"
"What hesitations do people have that I could address on this page?"
"Is there a FAQ page on my website already that I could update?"
Write your FAQ answers and add the page to your website this week.
You already know the answers. You just need to write them down.
